The knit fabric is made from recycled B-COOL polyester. Through a permanent yarn modification, the material provides a cooling effect. It only reacts to moisture with a cooling sensation when you sweat.
Since the cooling function only activates upon contact with moisture, the shirt is an all-season product. It is also permanently antibacterial, thus effectively preventing unwanted sweat odor over the long term.
Thanks to the new yarn technology and knitting technique, the BLUE_LINE features very rapid drying.
The material is knitted using a bird's-eye technique, giving it a classic appearance. It is also robust and has a great feel. It does not stick to the skin when sweating.
"Stay cool!" is the motto of this actively cooling line. Ideal for use in very hot environments or when high protection against sun exposure is needed. Through a new yarn modification from B-COOL, the 100% recycled polyester reacts to contact with sweat by producing a cooling effect. The function is permanent and can lower the perceived temperature. This has been verified in a test report by SGS. Without this contact, the material feels very pleasant but is not cold. This makes the shirt an all-season product. Additional features such as permanent odor control are active all year round. Protection against ultraviolet radiation (UVA-UVB) is certified according to DIN EN 13758-1. This is very important, as white skin cancer poses a major risk and is a recognized occupational disease in Germany. With this material, sweat is immediately transported away from the skin to the outside and evaporates very quickly. All products in the BLUE_LINE are permanently equipped with odor control.

TECHNOLOGY
Due to global warming, new functions and wearing properties are coming into focus. Knitted and woven fabrics made from B-COOL can help adapt to these new challenges. A high-tech yarn modification offers various functions. The antibacterial function against odor is environmentally friendly as it cannot be released from the fiber. The material permanently reacts to moisture with cooling. This means you are only cooled when overheating. Outside of this, the function is dormant. The water content in normal polyester is 0.4%, while the high-tech fiber B-COOL has a value of 1.9% for comparison. This represents an increase of 450%. This water temperature is lower than skin temperature. The wearing comfort is therefore very pleasant and cool. B-COOL was tested in an independent institute for the active cooling effect, i.e., for its function in the Q-Max value. B-COOL is cooling, antibacterial, odor-inhibiting, and protects against UV radiation.
