"Stay cool!" is the motto for the active cooling line made from 100% recycled polyester. Ideal for use in hot work situations or during high protection against solar radiation. Through a new yarn modification from B-COOL, the polyester reacts upon contact with moisture, a cooling effect. The function is permanent and can lower the perceived temperature. This was confirmed by a test report from SGS. This cooling effect only occurs upon contact with moisture. This makes the shirt is a year-round product. Additional features such as permanent odor control are active all year round. Protection against ultraviolet radiation (UVA-UVB) is certified according to DIN EN 13758-1.

B-COOL by Textile Functions

Due to the modification, the material has a high specific heat capacity and thus affects the perception of heat. The water content in normal polyester is 0.4%, while the high-tech fiber B-COOL has a value of 4.5% for comparison. This represents an increase of 450%. This water temperature is lower than skin temperature, and the material's feel is very pleasant and fresh due to this property. Protection against ultraviolet radiation (UVA-UVB) is certified according to DIN EN 13758-1. This is very important, as white skin cancer is a recognized occupational disease and employees must be protected from solar radiation. With this material, sweat is immediately transported away from the skin to the outside and evaporates very quickly. All products in the BLUE_LINE are permanently equipped against odor.
